SOIL : clay and chalk and red stones.

BLEND : Grenache is predominant. It is blended with the range of red grapes typical of the appelation: Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvedre, Terret, Counoise, Vaccarese and Muscardin.

VINIFICATION AND MATURATION :

There is meticulous selection of the grapes during the vendage, followed by vinification for 20 to 30 days at fermentation levels of 32 to 33oC. The wine is matured in 40 hectolitre barrels and in oak casks for 16 to 18 months.

WHAT WE CAN SAID ABOUT THE WINE :

Here we come close to a magnificent wine. A good-natured monster this Chateauneuf-du-Pape is round and rich, supple and strong. It is indisputably elegant, and will effortlessly charm all those who like to share the joys of life.
